Wedding photography

On your wedding day, everything is under control. By then, we've already met several times and planned the day together in detail. I'm there to help wherever needed, stay calm if things don't go exactly as planned, and otherwise be as unobtrusive as possible. The best photographs happen when no one is thinking about the camera—between the scheduled moments, during the quiet pauses, and in the moments when the day is simply being lived.

How I work on a wedding day

I'm there the whole time, but almost never in the way. I keep my distance with a telephoto lens when I can, and only come close for the most important moments: the rings, the kiss, the first dance. The rest of the time I capture the day as it actually unfolds, the laughter during the speeches, the hand that finds another hand. You don't need to pose. You just need to show up, and I'll take care of the rest.

Expression that lasts, not trends

I care more about expression that lasts than about trends. I want to make pictures that still mean something in ten, twenty or thirty years. When you look back on them, I hope you don't just remember how it looked, but how it actually felt to be there.

If you're unsure how much coverage you need, I'll help you work it out. We can adjust every package to your exact day. The most important thing is that you get a photographer who is calm, prepared and present. Every package can be tailored, and all prices include VAT.
